Soho Works Reopening

A core value of Soho Works is to provide a safe environment for all and to put our members at the heart of everything we do whilst maintaining community, creativity and passion.

This page sets out the measures we propose to take in order to keep our members and team safe in a post-lockdown society, we want to do everything we can to minimise the risk of COVID-19. These measures are based on current leading scientific advice. They are not fixed – as the advice and requirements change – so we will respond and be flexible in our approach.


Opening times:

The UK sites sites will be closed as of 8PM GMT from 5 January 2021, following the UK Government’s guidance regarding the corona virus.

All U.S. sites will also be operating on a reduced schedule – 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.


Check In policy:
Soho Works members who return to work will not be allowed to check in non-member guests until further notice. We will be reviewing this on a weekly basis. 

Any member who has travelled themselves, or lives and is in close contact with somebody who has travelled in the last 14 days, will not be allowed to re-enter Soho Works until they have completed a two-week quarantine.


Member interaction:
No physical contact between guests (handshakes, hugs, high fives etc)


Lounge capacity:
We will be running Soho Works with limited capacity to avoid breaking social-distancing guidelines. Reception will allocate you an available lounge seat. Every seat in the workspace will be marked as ‘available’ or ‘unavailable’. Meeting rooms have been opened up to ensure there is enough space.


Dedicated desk:
Your membership manager will be in touch and assign a desk that adheres to the two-metre / six-feet guidelines.


Cleaning policy:
There will be an increased cleaning regime, including a full deep clean before Soho Works reopens, more frequent deep cleanings throughout the week and then consistent hourly cleaning checks by staff.


Clean desk policy:
We ask members to keep a clean desk policy to help assist with our increased cleaning regime. This means that only your computer, phone and keyboard can be left out.


Temperature checks
For 55 Water (Dumbo) and 9000 Sunset (West Hollywood), someone will take your temperature at reception upon arrival. If your temperature is above 100.3 degrees, you will not be allowed to enter Works.


Moving around Works:

We will be implementing one-way systems where possible, and give-way signs will be in place through narrow walkways.

Signage will be in place throughout the site indicating best health and safety practice.

Frequently used doors around the workspace will be propped open to avoid the same surface being touched regularly and to help with ventilation.



Soho Works has invested hygiene consumables at each building.

These include:

    • Anti-bacterial wipes
    • Disposable face masks 
    • Disposable gloves 
    • Antibacterial hand Sanitiser 
    • Tissues

All members will be required to wear a mask/face covering while at Works. Hand sanitiser will be available throughout the space for members to use. Members are encouraged to wash their hands when entering Soho Works.
